1 Data Collection and Usage
MindSync is designed with a "Privacy First" architecture.
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, such as your name, email address, location, or contact details.
- Offline Processing: All AI-powered features (summarization, content generation, rewriting, etc.) are performed entirely offline on your device. Your text inputs and the AI-generated outputs never leave your device and are not uploaded to any servers.
2 Permissions
MindSync requests the following permissions for specific technical reasons:
Used solely to download the AI model files (GGUF) required for the app to function. Once the model is downloaded, the app can function entirely without an internet connection.
Used to ensure that large model downloads or intensive AI processing tasks are not interrupted by the operating system.
Used to provide updates on the status of model downloads or task completion.
3 Third-Party Services
MindSync does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect it in the first place.
4 Data Security
Since all data remains on your device, the security of your information depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using standard device security features (passcodes, biometric locks) to protect your data.
